The grass paintings married two approaches to painting; the premeditated systems of process and a romantic representation of landscape.

Monoculture (left) is one of the last and largest paintings in this particular series.

Panorama (below) was part of the exhibition 'Secret Garden' at the Angel Row Gallery. It was painted on a curved board bent into a quarter of a circle. The finished work wrapped around the viewer enclosing their vision and literally surrounding them in grass.
